متن کاملBreast Capsular Cerebrospinal Fluid Collection from Migration of a Ventriculoperitoneal Shunt Catheter
In this case report we have described an unusual complication of ventriculoperitoneal shunt migration into a breast implant capsule. The patient was appropriately diagnosed with computed tomographic imaging and successfully managed with shunt revision and cerebrospinal fluid aspiration. Given the high complication profile of ventriculoperitoneal shunt catheters, this case suggests an opportunit...

متن کاملScrotal migration of a ventriculoperitoneal shunt: a case report and review of literature.
Ventriculoperitoneal (VP) shunt insertion may be associated with migration into the abdominal wall, gastrointestinal tract, bladder, vagina, scrotum, and mediastinum. Migration of the VP shunt into the scrotum has been rarely reported. We present a 1 year old boy with cerebrospinal fluid hydrocele due to the migration of a VP shunt catheter into the right side scrotum.
